Objectives

The student is able to
- explain the principles of most common methods used in protein analytics
- extract, purify and characterize proteins using most common methods of protein analytics
- describe the anatomy of the immune system, and is able to explain the basic immunological terms
- describe, how antibodies are produced and how they are used in immunoanalytical techniques
- explain the principles of most common immunoanalytic techniques
- perform analyses using immunoanalytic techniques in laboratory
- document the laboratory work clearly to laboratory notebook and report the results in the form of a laboratory report
