Objective of course
Students master the fundamental techniques and skills of composing and can apply these to compositions on a larger scale. They have the ability to describe and assess the possibilities inherent in their compositional ideas and plan their realisation.

Course contents
Exercises in composing according to the plan agreed on between the teacher and student, including for example chamber music, music for chamber orchestra, vocal music and / or electronic music on a larger scale.

Teaching methods
Individual instruction. Becoming acquainted with the music of our time through literature, scores and recordings. Independent compositional assignments and discussions with teacher on basis of these assignments. Composition seminar.

Assessment methods
Participation in teaching and finished assignments and compositions. Self-evaluation and assessment by teacher.
