Objectives

The students learn the operating principles of different wireless telecommunication systems.

Content

Data transfer in wireless channels (TDMA, FDMA, CDMA, OFDMA), GMSK and DQPSK modulations. Wireless telephone systems (CT2, DECF, wireless local area network). Mobile telecommunication systems (GSM, TETRA, UMTS).
