Chemical Technological Processes (3cr)

Objectives

The students know the main characteristics and equipment of the most important substance transformation processes of the industry. The students are able to model chemical processes, know the most typical implementation of the process and are able to independently solve measuring and balancing problems of the reaction processes.

Content

Material balance of an irreversible chemical process, balance of a chemical reaction, heat balance and kinetics, mathematical models of chemical reactors, heterogeneous catalytic reaction, mass transfer of chemical reactions, electrochemical processes.

Basics of Chemical Technology (PTK-702) or equivalent
