Objectives

The student will get a deeper knowledge in solving the linear statics and will learn to perform dynamical and nonlinear analyses by the finite element method.

Content

The finite element method of plate and shell structures. Solving the linear dynamics by the finite element method. Natural frequencies and modes. Nonlinear problems. Compound structures. Handling of large FEM-models
