Objectives
The course provides principles of public participation and conflict management, the understanding how to communicate with different publics through different kinds of media and understands the importance of improving his/her communication skills. The student will be able to conduct a public involvement process.
Content
Main contents are the following: Conflicts, participatory planning principles, communication through different media, collecting data from the public through questionnaires and interviews, arranging public meetings, negotiation skills, group work and collaborative learning methods, analysing public feedback, integration of public opinion to decision making.
