Objectives
The students familiarise themselves with soil types and their constructional characteristics. The students know the most important soil inspection methods and are able to interpret soil survey documents. The students know the foundation methods and the foundation structuring stages.
Content
Soil types and the most important characteristics of ground (e.g. frost, groundwater). The students learn about soil survey methods and reinforcing of foundation. The frost protection and drying methods of buildings.
