Objectives

After having completed the course the students are able to
1. understand and use plural forms more fluently
2. use and understand business language in spoken and written communication
3. write and give an company and product presentation
4. adjust their own actions to meet the Finnish customs and work culture.

structures of spoken language (3.infinitive, passive voice)
- education, job markets
- company presentation
- product presentation
- telephone
- discussion situations
- business correspondence (e.g. invitation for a tender, tenders, order)
- business customs, cultural knowledge
- grammar as needed

Prerequisites

at least 10 credits worth of Finnish language studies

Working methods: The course uses the Moodle platform, where the students carry out assignments and which offers further instructions during the course. The students do one writing task/week, and also group work between the classroom meetings.
