Objectives

Having completed work on this module, students will - be capable of assessing the financial situation of a business enterprise and understand what it takes to keep a business operating profitably. - understand how businesses are managed, how work is organised, and how employment issues are handled. - be able to plan a stand for their Practice Enterprise at a trade fair, and organise the whole process of participating in a trade fair in accordance with their business strategy.

Content

Work with the Practice Enterprise continues throughout this module, culminating in participation in a trade fair for Practice Enterprises. Students learn about budgeting, and the prerequisites for profitable business operations. A great deal of attention is paid to maintaining customer relations, and the students are introduced to Customer Relation Management systems. Student' IT and communication skills continue to improve through practice.

Teaching methods: Group work. Each group will work on their own Practice Enterprise, as established in module H-P0210. The Practice Enterprise group work will be supported by lectures and other practice tasks.
