Objectives

The students become acquainted with the study
environment, understand the objectives and principles of problem-based learning and their own role and
responsibilities in learning. The students know the possibilities of the library services and are able to utilise
them. The student forms an understanding of employers and their competence requirements.The students
are able to analyse their learning and development as a forestry professional. The students develop general
working life skills.

Content

Tampere Polytechnic learning environment and student services, problem-based learning, learning styles and communication styles, information retrieval, work of the graduate, group
processes, giving feed back, time management and SWOT-analysis and orienteering.
