Objectives
The student learns to observe and analyse the operation limitations of the built environment. The student knows the environmental demands and related legislation concerning people with disabilities. The student is trained to solve environmental problems in both traditional and innovative ways. The student is equipped to utilise the applications of assistive technology to adapt the built environment better to suit people with disabilities and has the ability to understand the environmental preconditions set by the use of instruments. The student is familiar with the operating principles of the building trade and can affect building both in the planning, building and adjustment stages.

The study module is 5 cr and the students of the health care and social services can perform the attachment which is either 5 or 10 cr.
