Objective of course
Students are capable of comparing and assessing basic level teaching materials. They have the ability to independently write an observation report that includes their observations and views of the teaching observed. They are capable of transforming scientific information into practical principles and using theoretical and conceptual information in their teaching. Students recognise their needs and are able to make relevant questions. They have the ability to use critical feedback.

- becoming acquainted with different teaching materials and methods
- preparation of teaching materials
- planning of lessons and topical units
- publications in the field
- analysis of course contents
- planning and realisation of assessment procedures

Teaching methods
Group instruction, learning diary, assignments, trainee period, feedback from supervising teacher.

Assessment methods
Teacher assessment, peer review and self-evaluation
participation will be assessed.
