Objective of course
Students have the necessary skills in playing the piano and keyboard harmony for using the piano in accompaniments in their differing professional roles.

- fundamental keyboard technique
- playing of classical music on the piano
- accompaniment from music
- playing without written music
- accompaniment from chord symbols
- harmonisation of a simple melody

Teaching methods
Individual instruction, ensemble, independent work

Assessment methods
Demonstration of skills in classical piano and keyboard harmony. Accompaniment from chord symbols prima vista. Assessment by teacher and teacher's colleague.
