Objectives

After completing the course the student
- knows the structure of the Finnish legal system
- knows basic provisions concerning legal entities and legal and contractual capacity
- knows key forms of representation by law and methods of authorisation
- knows the most significant rules and principles concerning contract formation, validity and invalidity of contracts, and consequences of contract breaches
- knows the key rules and principles of administrative procedure

What kind of structure does the Finnish legal system have and what are the most important sources of law?
What are legal entities and how is their legal capacity determined?
What do representation by law and representation by legal act mean?
How to make valid contracts and what are the consequences of contract breaches?
What does invalidity of contracts mean and what are its consequences?
What are the key administrative authorities?

Itsearviointi: Ammattikorkeakoulussa tai yliopistossa vastaavat opinnot suorittanut opiskelija voi ehdottaa todistuksen avulla itsearviointia.
