Objectives

The student masters the operating principles and various purposes of AV equipment and knows how to safely and correctly use the chosen devices.

The student understands how audio and video signals move from one device to another and what types of connections are required.

The student becomes familiar with commonly used technologies in virtual and remote meetings, and live streaming, and is able to independently solve the most common problem situations related to them.

After completing the study module, the student is prepared to solve the most common practical problems encountered in various presentation and performance situations, as well as in meetings.

Content

Lectures and demonstrations on the operation of AV equipment, testing different AV devices, and independent use of selected AV equipment. A learning diary is created on the use of AV equipment.

Assessment criteria, pass/fail

Pass:

The student demonstrates in writing or in a performance test:

*mastery of the basic operating principles and various purposes of AV equipment and the ability to safely and correctly use the chosen devices.
*understanding of how audio and video signals move from one device to another and what types of connections are required.
*basic knowledge of commonly used technologies in virtual and remote meetings and live streaming.
*the ability to solve the most common practical problems encountered in various presentation and performance situations, as well as in meetings.

Fail:
The student is unable to demonstrate all the competencies required for an approved performance.
