Objectives

After completing the course, the participant
• knows the topics of the treated areas of mechanical engineering
• is able to consider one's own interest and suitability in the field of mechanical engineering
• gets acquainted with job descriptions, job positions and professional titles in mechanical engineering

Content

Areas of mechanical engineering:
a. Machine automation
i. Robotics
ii. Automation
b. Machine design and 3D printing

During the course, the participant becomes acquainted with different aspects of mechanical engineering independently through online exercises.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

The course is assessed as passed / failed.
Accepted completion of all course assignments is required for approved completion. The course is approved when the student has completed the given tasks and is able to combine the discussed issues with the professional context. The student demonstrates that he / she has achieved the Competence Objectives set for the course through the assignments.
