Objectives

Student knows and understands:
- Production automation and quality assurance of the key functions of the company's production activities
- how to answer the challenges in manufacturing by utilizing digitalization and automation in industry
- Robotics and the use of quality assurance
- The main application areas of robotics
- The possibilities of IoT and AI in the field of production automation

Student is able to:
- Designing and developing manufacturing activities required for the production of equipment and systems
- The application of production automation for the development of the latest offers of equipment, tools and software
- To measure and improve the quality of the product manufacturing process
- To utilize IoT and AI in production automation

Student is:
- expert of his or her own organization's production automation
- qualified to guide and develop the professional growth of the organization
- active in developing his or her own expertise

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

The student identifies the most important things of the subject, and when guided is able to interpret and apply the information obtained. The student is aware of the connection between theory and the company's real events. The student is only somewhat motivated, takes responsibility for his /her own performance, is able to work in a group and gives and receives feedback.

The student knows the most important things of the taught subject, and is able to independently interpret and apply the information obtained. The student understands and is able to describe the connection between theory and the real events of the company. The student is clearly motivated, takes responsibility for his / her own and the group's performance, is able to work in a group, and is able to give and receive feedback constructively.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student knows and understands the most important things of a widely taught subject, and is able to broadly interpret and apply the information obtained. The student is able to reasonably describe the effect of different action options on the company's operations. The student is highly motivated, takes responsibility for his / her own and the group's performance, and is able to systematically use feedback as a tool for professional growth.
