- chooses appropriate data collection and analysis methods according to the study approach
- knows ethical guidelines in scientific research

- the bases, conditions and methods of evidence based practice
- empirical research: quantitative and qualitative
- theoretical research
- scientific data collection and analysis methods and their use

Assessment criteria, pass/fail

ADMITTED
- the student can describe well the steps of the research process and apply them in the research process
- the student knows the principles of quantitative and qualitative research clearly and is able to apply different research methods
- the student has a clear knowledge of the methods of collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data
- the student can apply various methods of collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data

ABANDONED
- the student is not familiar with the stages of the research process and cannot apply different research methods
- the student's knowledge of research techniques and research methods is fragmented.
