Objectives

The student
- knows the vaginal delivery manoeuvres
- knows how to support the perineum to prevent perineal tearing
- knows how to perform an episiotomy and how to suture it in simulation
- is able to use technology in labour
- practices the observation of newborn baby requiring extra monitoring and the resuscitation of newborn baby
