Music Technology Pedagogy 1 (6cr)

Objectives

Students have a good command of the various tools in net-based teaching. They are familiar with electronic teaching materials and produce instructions based on that.

Students makes connections between the conceps in the basics of music and their own teaching. They make and perform arangements suitable for pupils at the level of music institute skills requirements. They use rhythmics in a creative way in their own work.

Students have ethical skills, learning skills and work community skills.

Content

- the use of syncronic and asyncronic tools in the preparation of teaching materials
- analysis on the sofware
- making of computer-based teaching materials
- pedagogical seminar
- guided observation and the reflection of it
- orientation to own teaching of the basics of music and pedagogy in group dynamics

Students:

- are able to assess and further develop their skills and learning methods
- take a critical approch to information acquisition and the retrieval of it
- take responsibility of the learning of the group and the delivery of what has been learned
- apply principles of work ethics
- considers individual characteristics of community members in their own work
- are active members of a work community and contribute to its wellbeing
