The Student
- is familiar with special issues of acute medicine;
- can apply medical information in different acute care situations.

- medical treatment of acutely ill and disabled patients
- possibilities of distance medicine

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

The Student
- is somewhat familiar with the specificities of acute medicine;
- can, in some situations, take into account the patient-doctor-nurse relationship at the professional level;
- is able to work in acute care situations as part of a multidisciplinary team;
- can take patient safety into account.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

The Student
- is familiar with specific issues of acute medicine
- is able to take into account the patient-doctor-nurse relationship at the professional level
- is able to apply medical information in various acute care situations as part of a multi-professional team;
- is able to take into consideration issues related to patient safety and, as a rule, to data protection / data chain integrity and confidentiality;
- is able to assess the challenges associated with the use and reliability of technical equipment and is aware of possible backup systems.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The Student
- is familiar with special issues of acute medicine;
- is able to take into account the patient-doctor-nurse relationship on a professional level;
- is able to apply medical information in various acute care situations;
- is able to take into consideration issues related to patient safety, data protection/data chain integrity and confidentiality;
- is able to assess and, as far as possible, seek technical assistance and reliability issues and is aware of possible back-up systems.
