Objectives

The student:
-knows the basics of knowledge and process management
-knows the general structure of management and forest certification systems and understands their importance in the guidance of activities in an organisation
- understands the link between operations and information systems and the relevant requirements of the organisation
- knows how to effectively make use of information systems and is able to participate in their design and development
- is aware of it-system development in forest sector (Forest Big Data)

Content

Basics of process management, quality management systems and quality management criteria, quality and environmental management systems in the forest sector, forest certification systems, information system design, databases and information systems, spatial data meaning of forestry information systems, examples of organizations in information systems. As an assignment established information system application that contains spatial data.
