Objectives

Students
-know the national legislation and instructions from authorities and EU-instructions governing optimization of patients’ radiation exposure
-know the measuring methods of radiation exposure
-know how to optimize patients’ radiation exposure
Students
-are able use spread sheet computation in the optimization of patients’ radiation exposure
-are able determine the patients’ dose (ESD, DAP) in basic x-ray examinations
-know the main concepts of statistics
-master the production and description of statistics and can calculate the most common key figures
-are able to read and interpret research reports which include statistics
