Recital C (8cr)

Objectives

Students master playing or singing of compositions that equal compositions in C-mastery level repertoires. Artistic expression based on knowledge of music styles, and mastery of large formal entities have reached the level necessary for Recital C. Students have learned to take advantage of professional literature, research papers and perceptive skills to further improve instrument skills. Students have the ability to reflect and thus take a critical approach to their own work. In some of the modules in the core studies, Recital C has been set to be the last course in instrument studies. After this, students are prepared enough to apply obtained skills in working life.

Content

Technical and expressional mastery of playing or singing a repertoire of C-level in major instrument including ergonomic skills and interaction with the accompanist and the public.
