Objectives

Students are capable of working independently at a congregation, where they are able to utilze acquired knowledge and obtained skills in the work duties in practise.

They have an understanding of their role and value and responsibility in the congregational community.

Students have learning and work community skills and innovation skills.

Content

A three-month period of independent work as a cantor at a congregation.


Students are able to
- assess and improve their skills and learning skills
- take a critical approach to information acquisition and the retrival of it
- take responsibility of the group's learning and its sharing the knowledge
- take responsibility of their own actions and the consequences of them
- follow the principles of work ethics in the field
- work as a member of a work community and contribute to its wellbeing
- communicate fluently and efficiently in the interaction situations of work life
- utilize it technology in the work duties
- create personal work life connections and network
- make decisions using creativity and develops working methods
- work in projects
- implement research and development ventures taking advantage of the methods and knowledge of the field
