Objectives

Student understands the basic principles and theory of Statics. Student is able to calculate reaction forces of particles, rigid bodies and simple mechanical systems. Student is also able to calculate internal forces for beams.

Basic principles and laws of Statics. Resultant of a force system. Dividing a force to it's components. Equilibrium of particles, rigid bodies and mechanical systems. Reaction forces and internal forces for beams.
