Objectives

Students have knowledge of instruments commonly used in classical music and is capable of writing music for various ensembles and chamber orchestras taking advantage of the characteristics of the various instruments. They have an ability to strengthen their instrumentation skills by reading score and literature on orchestration.

Students have learning and innovation skills.

Content

- orchestration exercises for ensembles and orchestras
( e.g. string quartet, string orchestra, wind quintet, brass ensemble, percussion ensemble)
- score and aural analysis
- literature


Students increase their learning skills and innovation skills (creative problem solving and ideas suitable for execution, information acquisition and retrieval of it, increasing own skills, planning and reflection of own work).
