Objectives

Students have knowledge of compositional techniques for tonal music and are able to apply that into practise.

Students have learning and innovation skills.

Content

Small-scale homophonic ja polyphonic style and compositional technique exercises from the period approx.1700- approx.1850 according to the chosen models.

Students increase their learning skills and innovation skills (creative problem solving and ideas suitable for execution, information acquisition and retrieval of it, increasing own skills, planning and reflection of own work).
