Objectives

Students
-know the structure and function of mammography equipment and auxiliary equipment
-know the principles of mammography
-know the most common medical substances and contrast agents used in mammography, their influence mechanism as well as their side effects
-discern normal and pathological conditions of breasts
-know the legislation concerning safe medical use of ionising radiation in mammography and procedures
-know how to act in case of emergency
-can act aseptically
-can guide and position patients in mammography
