Objectives

Student is able to
- independently examine and interview an acutely ill and injured patient
- safely use a variety examine equipment and medical device
- use medication in emergency situation
- document and report the care of emergency patient
- discern the overall situation at accident scenes and are able to work as situation managers in multipatient situations
- use the authorities network and the VIRVE telephone

Prerequisites

Osallistumisen edellytyksenä on, että ensimmäisen ja toisen vuoden opinnot on suoritettu pääosiltaan, ensihoidon perusosaaminen on suoritettu kokonaisuudessaan ja osallistuminen ensihoidon syventävän osaaminen teoriaopintojaksoon.
