Objectives
Students are able to function in their own learning environment. They have acquired the communication skills and tools necessary for their studies. They have made the acquaintance of other first-year students, student tutors and key members of staff.
Students can give performances in a professional manner, according to their chosen study option.
Students understand the importance of taking care of their hearing both for study purposes and for their future work; they know how to protect their hearing in work situations.
Content
- Participation in the orientation week activities
- Drawing up a personal study plan and a schedule for the academic year under the guidance of student tutors and the staff members responsible for the study options concerned.
- Taking part in turorials during the terms
- Practice in using electronic tools and systems
- Performance training exercises
- Exposure to noise in the music professions
- Hearing protection
- Stress management and relaxation
