Objectives

The student
-is able to act appropriately to ensure patient safety as a member of the team
-is able to perform personalised health check-ups and screenings
-is able to implement assessment methods of need for care
-is able to use empowering methods in lifestyle guidance
-knows the service system of primary health care and is able to guide clients in it
-is able to assess the need for care, plan, implement and evaluate nursing of people in different life situations and from different cultures in primary health care
-is able to guide clients in self-care and choices of lifestyle with an empowering approach

Clinical training in home care 4 op

Prerequisites

Ensimmäisen vuoden opinnot pääosin suoritettuna. Osallistuminen avoterveydenhuolto ja gerontologinen hoitotyö opintojaksoihin.
