Objectives

The student
- is able to apply and develop her/his knowledge base in special issues of midwifery
- knows and is able to critically evaluate alternative labour practices and pain relief methods
- learns to know different methods and cultures in midwifery practice
- is able to demonstrate her/his knowledge base and practical skills in midwifery both orally and literally
