Objectives
The student
- manages patient and family education on mental health promotion and care;
- recognises, assesses and nurses patients with mental health or substance abuse problems and their families with different nursing interventions;
- recognises different approaches to mental health and substance abuse problems and different methods of psychotherapy;
- can work in interdisciplinary cooperation;
- assesses her/his own professional practice and develop the practice according to feedback and clinical supervision;
- understands the meaning of mental health and substance abuse problems from the viewpoints of the society, community and individual in their own practice.
