Objectives

The students learn to design and implement different measurements of electrotechnology in a systematic and safe way as well as analysing and reporting their results in a written form.

Content

Planning, implementing and reporting electrotechnical measurements and working safely and within regulations. Laboratory work covers the following topics: relay protection technology of electric networks, electric appliances and the use of electricity, programmable logics, sensors, control measurements of electric installations, synchronous machines, use of frequency changers, etc.

Prerequisites

1st, 2nd and 3rd year courses in mathematics, physics and electrical power engineering (direct currents, alternating currents, circuit analysis, electric machinery, electric networks)
