Description

The diploma in systemic entrepreneurship takes a holistic view of entrepreneurship and seeks to understand how its different parts interact with each other. Ecosystems, networks, innovation, sustainability, learning organisation, teamwork and team management, and the management of other resources are learned through practical projects.

In this diploma, you will develop your own new or existing business or entrepreneurial idea. The aim is that during the course of your studies, the idea will become clearer and more feasible.

The pedagogical framework is team learning: learning together, taking responsibility for your own and others' learning. The learning process is supported by team coaching.

Objectives

After completing this Master's level diploma programme, students will
- know the principles of socially, economically and ethically-ecologically sustainable business and can apply them in practice.
- are able to innovate a new product or service and justify a sustainable business model for it.
- know the processes of product and service development according to the principles of service design.
- know how systems work and can create networks of business value.
- be able to take a product or service to market, make it available to customers and monitor the effectiveness of marketing activities.
- be able to demonstrate their entrepreneurial skills.
- know the characteristics of the Finnish business environment and some Finnish.
- be able to work in a team, lead a team and make forward-looking strategic business decisions.

Further information

The Diploma in Systemic Entrepreneurship is a co-learning programme, which requires students to be physically present for a maximum of 40 hours per week, usually between 8am and 4pm.
