Professional guidance counsellor education emphasises the student’s own activity, shared production and assessment of information, and development of new practices. The studies focus on the foundations, context, and development of counselling. The perspectives included in the studies involve those of individuality, guidance, authenticity, cooperation and plasticity. The studies are multimodal. Professional guidance counsellors work in various positions as study counsellors, teachers and experts in counselling.
