Prerequisites

The student must have completed the course Basics of Public Health Nursing.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

- Knows the main principles of the importance of sexual and reproductive health promotion in nursing
- Knows methods of addressing sexuality and guiding sexual and reproductive health
- Knows the multidisciplinary knowledge for sexual health promotion
- Knows the basic principles of promoting and guiding reproductive health

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

- Understand the importance of promoting sexual and reproductive health in public health nursing
- Is able to use methods of addressing sexuality and guidance in sexual and reproductive health
- Is able to apply the multidisciplinary knowledge base for sexual health promotion
- Is able promote reproductive health and guide reproductive health choices

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

- Understand the importance of promoting sexual and reproductive health in public health nursing
- Is able to flexibly use and apply a variety of sexual and reproductive health speaking and guidance methods
- Is able to apply the multidisciplinary knowledge base for sexual health promotion widely
- Is able promote reproductive health and guide individual choices in reproductive health
