Objectives

The student
- Understands the demands of different production processes on the dimensions and quality requirements of timber grades
- is familiar with the general measurement and quality requirements for different types of timber
- is familiar with the measurement legislation and is able to take its requirements into account in its own operations
- knows the main methods of measuring timber and can measure timber at the roadside

The student knows the regulations of the Timber Measurement Act
He is familiar with the general dimensions and quality requirements for different wood assortments
He / she knows the basic methods of measuring timber and is able to perform timber measurement for the most common wood assortments
