Description
Tutkinnon laajuus on 240 opintopistettä, josta laboratorioanalyytikon tutkinnolla (210 op) hyväksiluetaan vähintään 180 opintopistettä. Tutkinnon voi suorittaa opinnot 1 vuodessa työn ohessa.
Laboratoriotekniikan monimuoto-opinnoissa laajennetaan laboratorioanalyytikon matemaattis-luonnontieteellistä osaamista. Koulutus tarjoaa myös valmiuksia esimiehenä toimimiseen. Osaamista syvennetään myös menetelmäkehityksen, laboratorion ylläpidon ja tuotekehityksen osa-alueilla. Opintoihin kuuluu projektiopintoja, jotka osittain toteutetaan työelämälähtöisesti.

Monimuotototeutus sisältää lähi- ja verkko-opiskelua sekä oppimistehtävien tekemistä yksin ja pienryhmässä. Lähijaksot toteutetaan enimmillään joka toinen viikko (2 kertaa kuussa). Kuukausittaiset lähijaksot ovat torstai ja perjantai sekä perjantai ja lauantai klo 8 - 16. Lisäksi viikoittain työskennellään sekä yksin että pienryhmissä verkossa. Syyslukukauden lähiopetuksen ajankohdat julkaistaan toukokuun 2019 lopussa. Kevään osalta lähijaksot julkaistaan viimeistään lokakuussa 2019. Opinnoissa tehdään projekteja työelämään sekä hyödynnetään opiskelijoiden omia työyhteisöjä.
