The student

Contents: 6 weeks of clinical training in Medical- Surgical wards or Medical- Surgical outpatient clinics or specialised care’s Home hospitals
Prerequisites
Prerequisites: participation in courses: Advanced clinical nursing practice of long-term patients and Orientation to Clinical Training, Advanced clinical nursing

Student workload
During weeks 15 to 20 there are three public holidays. Reduction from the required hours from those days (7h;30min/ week) => 230 – 23 hrs =207 hours according to supervisor's shifts. If clinical training happens during other weeks 230 hours in the clinic are required.

Preliminary goals must be sent in Finnish to the Course Moodle submission platform by 4 April 2023 or if an individual schedule, to supervising teacher minimum of one week before the traing starts. Nursing care plan, and summary and self- evaluation is written in Finnish. Peer review of a NC plan must be provided.
