Prerequisites

The student must have completed 135 ects in the nursing phase and participated in the course Basics of Public Health Nursing

- knows the vaccination program for children and the young people
- is able to vaccinate safety the child and the adolescents and knows the importance of the parental guidance
- knows vaccination of the special groups
- knows ethical issues associated with vaccination

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

- know the vaccination program for children and the young people
- is able to vaccinate a child and the adolescent and to guide parents
- is able reflect on the ethical issues related to vaccination
- is able to vaccinate the different groups

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

- masters the child's and adolescent´s vaccination program and is able to apply it
- is able to vaccinate the child and the young people and guide the parents individually
- is able to reflect on the ethical issues related to vaccination and his/her own activities as a nurse giving vaccinations
- is able to vaccinate the different groups individually
