Objectives
In this course, we deepen our understanding of the principles, methods, and approaches related to guidance work within schools. We also explore the role of student welfare.
Upon completing this course, the student will:
• Understand the significance of student welfare in promoting social well-being, learning, and academic progress
• Be familiar with the objectives and legal regulations that guide student welfare practices
• Appreciate the importance of a student-, learner-, and family-centered approach in student welfare work
• Be able to apply both community-based and individualized student welfare approaches, while also understanding the pedagogical context within the school community
• Demonstrate the ability to plan, implement, evaluate, and develop student welfare practices in a multidisciplinary manner

• Student welfare work from preschool to upper secondary education
