Objectives

The student
- demonstrates mastery of key skills in outpatient clinic nursing
- is able to act safely and following ethical principles
. is able to demonstrate nursing expertise in an outpatient clinic patient’s care
. utilises the factors affecting nursing quality in his/her own work and in the actions of the workplace

Content

- examination of an outpatient clinic patient
- examinations and procedures and related guidance

Prerequisites

At the beginning of the elective vocational studies, the student must have completed 135 credits. These should include the theoretical studies and orientation to practical training of the area which the student has chosen for the elective studies, as well as courses in anatomy and physiology. Required courses are Medical Nursing and Surgical Nursing
