Objectives
The aim of the course is to guide students in identifying factors affecting their own well-being at work and to provide knowledge and skills to support their transition to working life.
On completion of the course, the student will
• identify factors affecting their own well-being at work
• to be able to assess the health and functional capacity of an employee as part of his/her ability to work in relation to the work environment
• understand the interaction between occupational health and safety and occupational health care
• is able to plan and implement activities to maintain and promote work capacity and well-being of the work community in a multidisciplinary cooperation
• knowledge of opportunities and practices related to the transition to working life
• can explain the rules of working life, the rights and obligations of employees and how to act as a physiotherapy professional
• be able to prepare a job application with relevant attachments
• plans the direction of his/her future career and considers his/her own competence needs in the light of changes in the sector and in working life

Accepted:
• can describe the factors affecting well-being at work
• knows and can use appropriate indicators for assessing work and functional capacity in different contexts.
• can describe the service systems of occupational health and safety and health at work
• can describe the main issues related to job search and employment contracts
• be familiar with trade union activities and labour legislation
• can explain the rules of working life, the rights and obligations of workers, and how to work as a physiotherapy professional
• passes the course assignments and participates actively in group work
