Objectives

The aim of the course is to gain practical experience in the planning and implementation of therapeutic exercises.

On completion of the course, the student will

• plans, supervises and evaluates therapeutic exercise for a client in a guided manner
• record the therapeutic exercise of a client in an agreed manner
• evaluates his/her own activities in his/her working environment and identifies his/her needs for improvement
• interacts with the client and the work community
• acts in accordance with ethical principles

• professional interaction with the client and the work community
• documentation
• professional growth

Assessment criteria, pass/fail

Approved, student

• can apply what they have learned in a reasoned way as required by the situation
• carry out the agreed tasks
• give and receive feedback actively and constructively
• is able to work cooperatively
• takes responsibility for his/her own actions and their consequences and recognises the limits of his/her own competence
• returns the learning diary as instructed by the agreed deadline

Fail, student

• uses information incorrectly and without justification
• fails to complete assigned tasks
• has a negative attitude to receiving feedback
• compromises client safety
• shows poor cooperation skills
• does not respect confidentiality
• fails to comply with ethical guidelines
• does not return the learning diary on time or it is incomplete
