The student
- can measure physical condition and design a progressive training program based on the results
- evaluates and analyses the effects of therapeutic training
- can use the methods of therapeutic training to improve a person’s well-being
Content
- training of muscular strength
- training of flexibility and stretching
- movement control
- measurement of physical condition by indirect bicycle ergometer test and walking test
- putting health related fitness into practice
Prerequisites
In order to be able to attend the module, the student has to have passed the required exercises and examinations.
Assessment criteria, pass/fail
Evaluation criteria, pass/fail:
A passed mark is the result of:
- the student being able to apply their knowledge depending on the situation at hand
- the student being able to justify their methods
- the student completing tasks given to them
- the student being able to work in collaboration with colleagues
- the student taking responsibility of their actions and consequences of them, and having the capability of knowing the limits of their knowledge
A failed mark is the result of:
- the student using theoritical knowledge falsely and without justification
- the student leaving given tasks unfinished
- the student having a negative attitude towards feedback
- the student disregarding patient safety
- the student not willing to collaborate
- the student not working according to the duty of secrecy
- the student not taking ethical issues into consideration
