The student must have passed 7B00ET97 Anatomy and Physiology and 7B00EG29 Preparation of Tissue Sections and Recognition of Tissues before the course the Introduction to Clinical Cytology.

The student knows the principles of cytological sampling and can make cytological preparations under supervision. The student knows partially the main reporting systems of cytological samples and knows cancer screening and its importance in general. He/she can identify the main normal findings in Pap smear. The student knows quality assurance and occupational safety factors in cytology.
