Objectives

The student:
-knows the practices of studying in Tampere University of Applied Sciences
- understands the principles, working methods and objectives of problem based learning and his/her own responsibility in studying
- knows how to use a personal computer and most common utility programs as part of his/her studies
- can use the university´s IT network services as part of his/her studies.

Content

TAMK practices and services, TAMK information systems, learning environment in TAMK and in the programme of forestry, learning, group processes, giving feedback, using sources of information, web learning environment, the work of forestry professional and working life skills. Using word processing, spreadsheetand graphics applications in studies.
