The student is able to

- describe the significance of recognising emission sources
- dimension some local exhaust ventilation solutions in industrial buildings
- search information concerning regulations and guidelines
- find out about the most common cleaning methods

Ventilation solutions for big spaces and industrial buildings. History of industrial ventilation. OEL values and types of local exhaust ventilation. ATEX spaces and their classification. Laboratory project on local exhaust ventilation. A project on improving industrial ventilation. Heat recovery in industrial ventilation.
